Using the Spakinect App - Check in your patient to the waiting room

Checking in a patient into the waiting room is simple and only takes a few steps. The most important being that you have the Spakinect app downloaded onto your tablet, and it is up to date with the latest version.


Please navigate to your device's app store and search for "Spakinect," the icon will look like this:


Then it is just a few easy steps:
  1. The first thing it will ask you for is the room code. To find your room code please log into your Spakinect Client Portal and click on "account and subscription details" to locate your room code.

  2. Once the room code is entered it will ask you for the patient's first and last name (please double check the spelling), date of birth, and desired treatments you are wanting clearance for.

  3. Once you click next you will be entered into the waiting room, you should be seeing yourself on the screen, if that is the case you are in the waiting room. 

  4. Please do make sure that the patient is in a HIPAA compliant area for their evaluation and they have their medication list ready.

  5. Look out for messages that we may send you while waiting if wait times are longer than usual. It will be at the top of the screen near where it says waiting room. 

  6. After entering the waiting room a provider will be connecting with your patient soon and will appear on the screen when they have entered into the call.
